Wisconsin Is The Latest To Instate Pre-abortion Ultrasound Requirement - Fashion News

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, who survived a recall last year thanks to his catchy campaign slogan ("Vote Scott Walker: He Keeps Your Vaginas... In A Cage!"), signed a law yesterday that requires all women seeking abortions to have an ultrasound and ban doctors without admitting privileges from performing them at hospitals. Planned Parenthood and the ACLU have already filed a measure to attempt to temporarily prevent it from taking effect, which right now is scheduled for Monday.

In 2011, Walker significantly cut Planned Parenthood funding in the state, forcing them to close four Wisconsin clinics, and three more are projected to shut down due to the admitting privileges requirement. The law closely parallels Ohio's major new abortion restrictions, signed by Governor John Kasich, another one of your vagina's best friends, this week — and it's all part of a nationwide push to get rid of abortion courtesy of still MORE of our friends, the GOP. Look how many friends we have! Tons! Way more than us walking, talking, non-person vessels of life have the right to, really.

Walker's people released the following statement: "This bill improves a woman's ability to make an informed choice that will protect her physical and mental health now and in the future." Oh, thanks. Also: Does anyone else the GOP came up with the ultrasound thing after their hip niece made them watch Juno and they saw that one part with the fingernails?
