What <em>does</em> The Fox Say? 're-re-re-re-record Deal,' For Starters - Fashion Labels

As we have explained previously, the fox does not actually say "ring-ding-ding-ding" or anything of the like. But that hardly matters to Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis, who are responsible for the most aggressive earworm-meme since "Trololo." Overwhelmingly popular in their homeland, they're now receiving international recognition, and even validation. Yesterday, brothers Vegard and Bard Ylvisaaker made their U.S. live-show debut at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas. The pair performed their viral hit, "The Fox," sandwiched between sets by Chris Brown and Katy Perry. Naturally, they were wearing fox costumes.

Ylvis also confirmed yesterday that Warner Music has signed them to a worldwide deal, all thanks to their song which contains the lyrics, "But if you meet/a friendly horse/Will you communicate by/mo-o-o-o-orse?" According to the Hollywood Reporter, "A source with knowledge of the negotiations says the label coughed up 'huge' money to lock down the act following its success on YouTube." But the brothers also told THR that, despite the deal, comedy is their true passion. "We'll never pursue pure music as a career," said Bard.
