You know, sometimes stars aren't just like us. We don't get to shame our ex-boyfriends with a chart-topper. We don't have a stash of evening gowns at our disposal. And, we certainly didn't get to celebrate our 24th birthday with a magical garden party Down Under with our closest pals and one of the most exciting young singers on the scene.

Taylor Swift, on the other hand, did. Despite turning 24 on the slightly unnerving Friday the 13th, the pop star made her big day into a picture-perfect garden party in Melbourne, Australia. There were flowers, there were balloons, and there was Lorde, the New Zealand crooner who's storming the charts. You know, just the usual crowd.

So, does this mean the two singers — who both sported on-theme floral prints — are budding BFFs, despite their seven-year age gap? We kinda hope so. And gals, next time you need a third, go ahead and give us a call. We'll bring the cupcakes. (Huffington Post)
